OnePlus8
Accroding to OnePlus that the OnePlus 8 series will launch on April 14. The event will be online and a livestream so everyone can follow the action from home. It will be hosted at 11pm EST.
The big change in the OnePlus 8 series is that it's going to be 5G and it will probably raise prices. John Lewis immediately went live before tearing the pages down. They will appear here again, along with prices and order pages, hours after you make the official announcement.
The pages revealed that the 8GB / 128GB version of the OnePlus 8 will be £ 699, and the 8 Pro of the same configuration will cost another $ 100 for £ 799. The list of 8 Pro's 12GB / 256GB models for the Pro 899 was listed
Design
- Full screen,
- punch-hole camera
8: IP53;
8: Pro IP68
The OnePlus 7T's display has a waterproof groove on the top, while the 7 Pro has a pop-up front camera, allowing for uninterrupted display. OnePlus 8 Series renders suggest OnePlus that will opt for a punch-hole design for its next devices.
It looks like the warning slider will remain and we expect a premium build quality. Renders suggest that both OnePlus 8 models will opt for vertical camera housing design in the rear. This is one of the things that will appear in the OnePlus Concept One that was announced as a concept and nothing more, possibly indicating the overall design of the OnePlus 8.
A leaked space suggests an alloy frame with a glass back using Gorilla Glass 6 for the front of the breakdown. Interestingly, the OnePlus 8 has an IP53 rating, while the OnePlus 8 Pro has an IP68 rating - meaning it is much more waterproof than the previous oneplus+ device. Waterproofing is one of the things that has stuck and we believe that OnePlus will step into the region.
We've seen a lot of color leaks, including green options, light blue and some colors called glow, which look like it was inspired by the setting sun, but can be seen as a weed color from yellow to purple - though we've seen different versions of this "glow" . Most people will probably buy black
Display
Oneplus8: 6.55-inch AMOLED, 2400 x 1080, 90Hz
Oneplus8 Pro: 6.78-inch AMOLED, 3140 x 1440, 120Hz
In-display fingerprint sensor
OnePlus has said that it's not going back to the H০ Hicharge display, which means you'll get at least 90Hz from the newer devices, the OnePlus 8 Pro 120 has asked to sport a 120Hz display. This 120Hz display technology was confirmed by OnePlus, and the display gave the phone a rating. It was suggested that the OnePlus 8 get a 90Hz display.
OnePlus says it is deploying TV technology to enhance the performance of the panel, not only with 10-bit color (which means it can be HDR compatible), but dedicated hardware that will handle MEMC - frame insertion technology - with the goal of building everything at 120Hz. Smooth the video.
This technology can smooth out the video, but it is also commonly known as the "soap opera effect", where the video starts to look unnatural as it moves from the oneplus frame rate - 24 or 30fps - to 120fps.
The two onplus8 and pro phones will come with an AMALED panel, but the Pro gets a 6.78-inch display with 3140 x 1440 resolution; The OnePlus 8 will be a smaller 6.55-inch display with 2400 x 1080 resolution, according to the leak.
We're expecting both the 8 and 8 to bend toward the edge without displaying a flat like the OnePlus T - but instead the OnePlus 8 Lite will be flat.
OnePlus has also confirmed that it will always be on-display in the roadmap, we do not know if it will appear in the OnePlus 8 series.
Hardware
- Qualcomm confirmed with Snapdragon 865
- X55 modem for 5G
- 8/12 GB, 128/256 GB storage
- 4300 / 4510mAh battery with wireless charging
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and provide 5G capabilities. OnePlus confirmed the authenticity of this statement in a forum post.
It is said that it will launch in the US on Verizon Networks - the first for OnePlus - and will support 5G over Verizon. This is expected from the X55 modem which supports all bands.
It is reported that there are 12 GB and 256 GB as standard with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB stand-up options. OnePlus does not confirm that
there are 12 GB and 256 GB as standard with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB stand, it does say that it is using LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage, so things are going to be faster. This is nothing short of amazing and we would expect nothing less.
It is reported that the OnePlus 8 will have a 4300mAh battery, while the OnePlus 8 Pro will have a 4510mAh battery. Both are reported to support a 30 W warp charge for 30 of them.
OnePlus also confirmed Warp Charge 30 Wireless, which is 30W Wireless Charging. This phone should be charged 50 percent in 30 minutes - though we're assuming you need to buy the charging pad separately I assumed. The OnePlus 8 Series will support Qi standard, allowing you to use existing wireless chargers as well.
Camera
- 48MP main camera on both phones
- Punchhole front 16MP camera
Initial leaks suggest that both models will have a 64৪ megapixel f / 1.7 main camera, a 20-megapixel f / 2.2 ultra-wide camera and a 12-megapixel f / 2.4 telephoto camera. The main sensor is known as the Sony IMAX 686.
But subsequent leaks suggest a completely different load-out, with the OnePlus 8 Pro having a 48, 8 and 5MP camera and a 48-megapixel main camera - possibly ultra-wide, telephoto and possibly a depth sensor. The OnePlus 8 features a 48-megapixel original camera (probably similar) but is followed by a 16MP ultra-wide or telephoto and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The details of what these cameras will currently do is unclear.
At this point, it's difficult to tell what the layout of these cameras will be - there's a lot more to learn in this field, including anti-leaks and the best details.
Software
Android 10
The OnePlus 7 series launches on Android 10, so we are expecting a similar behavior for the OnePlus 8 model. We expect the 820 models to update in 2020 after Android 1120.
